SAN DIEGO – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County continued its gradual decline, according to
figures released today by the Oil Price Information Service.
The average of $4.545 is five-tenths of a cent lower than Sunday and 8.5 cents lower than the record high of $4.63 set June 19. However, the average
is 11.1 cents higher than last month and $1.434 higher than at this time last year.
The average had risen one-tenth of a cent from Friday to Saturday, but fell 1.2 cents from Saturday to Sunday.
