Pomare scores 24 to lead Toreros over CS Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, 9:37 p.m. Dec. 1 (AP)
Gyno Pomare had 24 points and nine rebounds as the University of San Diego beat Cal State Bakersfield 77-65 on Monday.
Brandon Johnson added 18 points for USD (4-3), which shot 61 percent from the floor and 54 percent from beyond the arc. The Toreros have won two in a row going into Saturday's city rivalry game at San Diego State.
